More Intense Hurricanes
Fresh off the press -
GLOBAL warming is likely to produce a significant increase in the intensity and rainfall of hurricanes in the coming decades, according to the most comprehensive computer analysis done so far.
By the 2080s, seas warmed by rising atmospheric concentrations of heat-trapping greenhouse gases may cause a typical hurricane to intensify about another half step on the five-step scale of destructive power, according to the study done on supercomputers in the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory at Princeton University. – New York Times
I hate to think that I would still be alive to witness this coming to pass... haha - sounds like a calculated prophecy, I need to die young and quickly too.
