Jazz up

Swing Girls was a fun movie to watch. Yup! Caught the movie tonight as planned, it's a typical inspirational zero-to-hero tale about a group of girls who found their rhythm - they say it was based on a true story, plausible. Lots of feel-good emotions, humor and more than a little satisfying irreverence - there's this part in the movie where the girls were chased by a wild boar, simply hilarious. It was done in a mock, a-la-Matrix bullet time action.

I am getting a renewed passion for some Big Band music, time to go hunt down 'em Big Band/Swing Band/Jazz CDs. The 'Swing Girls'team looks set to be releasing a 'LIVE' music CD later this month too.
