Devil wears Prada??

The author of the book should know, afterall she Lauren Weisberger did a stint as assistant to Anna Wintour, the all-powerful editor of Vogue magazine.

In any case, heard that the movie is as good as the book. If not that, then at least Meryl Streep's performance as Miranda Priestly.

A privileged look inside the world of fashion journalism too.

Must... stay... awakeZzZz

A good laugh.

KITAMI, Hokkaido -- A drunken man who fell asleep while molesting a woman at her home.

Kenichi Saito, 31, from Kitami, sneaked into the apartment of a woman through an unlocked window at about 5 a.m. on Saturday, local police said. He was so drunk at the time he fell asleep while fondling the woman's body.

The woman in her 20s was so infuriated by this turn of events that she slapped him around in an effort to get him awake, when her attempts were in vain she contacted the police, who rushed to her apartment and proceeded to slap the sleeping Saito around before taking him away.

Krabi Islands

Finally had the chance to watch - The Beach
Directed by Danny Boyle, starring Leonardo DiCaprio

Been looking out for the DVD since I started finding out more about Krabi and it's surrounding islands.

Seemed like a really nice place for lots of water sports and rock climbing.

So it's confirmed that Phi Phi island is all it's hyped up to be, not just from the film, but also from some of the nice photos that's been posted up on ClubSnap's forum.

Should plan for a trip there next year.

before you

Thai translated, from the indie film Citizen Dog.

before the day dawns
before the warmth of the sun
before the flowers bloom
before the dreams that are sweet

my heart was empty
until your love came in
and showed my eyes the light
beside me there was no one
until your compassion
inspired me to keep fighting

before the stars appear in the sky
before I knew the value of life
before I lose heart
before I lose the fire

before the stars appear in the sky
before I knew the value of life
before I lose heart
before I lose the fire

inspired me to fight

With thanks to Murrey Street, inspiring.

Movies to watch

Helen the Baby Fox, ia a japanese movie with combination of a few good things. There's beady eyed animals, Hokkaido scenics and classic japanese tear-jerking storyline.

There, proof of beady eyed animal.

How Much Do You Love Me?
Combien tu m'aimes

I dun know yet, but I might just decide to find out. Read quite a few complimentry reviews on this one.

Yet there are just as much harsh criticism about the story itself, that the story itself seemed a rather absurd premise.

I guess the french are an absurd bunch.
Esp. those named Fredrick.

I've also yet to catch Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
If it ends it's run soon, guess I'll have to get the DVD and enjoy it later.

For Auction

Anyone interested in a T-shirt that WeiLian wore?
WeiLian is the guy you see in the photo, he's also the blind singer that went from underpass basker to Project Superstar winner.

The T's a size M, but the Crocodile label seemed to be a stick on...
the guys were all wearing Crocodile label Ts, since the Crocodile started looking at rebranding for the younger group of consumers, cause the older ones are... just not improving their profile. *LOL*

So anyway, here's the picture of the t-shirt.
The show that he wore this for, was "Dream Chasers"...

If there are interested parties, the t-shirt will go on Ebay for auction.
