Sentosa

Have you been to Sentosa lately?
So much have changed!

Even though there are some interesting things to see, it's really not what is on Sentosa.
It's who you chose to spend the time with.

Song of the Sea, is quite amazing when you watch it with someone who is easily awed.
Adds to the experience that someone actually enjoyed it - tourist are so easy to entertain, heh.
But I did especially liked the pyrotechnics, too bad dogs are not allowed.
Mocha would have loved the show.

The good thing with having foreign friends over is that you get to go food hunting too.
Didn't know that the XO Carb noodle at Holland Ave was so good, though I've been living around the corner almost all my life. Or perhaps I've just plain forgotten how good crab meat tasted.

Another thing I just realised is that Heineken seem to taste quite different from what I remebered.
Or it could very well have been the company.

Invasion

Morning rush hour can be quite an interesting time to people watch, while waiting for the train transit.

The trains would be quite packed when it arrive at the station where I board and most times I would have my back against the door, which is not all that bad. I find it rather refreshing to be face to face with all these people that would be all facing the door. Most times, to kill time, I would look at those facing me straight in the eye and see how long it takes for them to avert their eyes... its kinda like a little social experiment on self-confidence.

Yet there are times when I experience something totally random, like how someone could smell like a wet shoe so early in the morning.

That's one experience you would not soon forget.

Invasion of air space is taken very seriously.

Blue it

My first day being Blue in more ways than one.

Came across someone who was named Deny.
I don't see myself asking this person for any help or favors any time soon, heh.
And I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like for the partner in the bedroom.

"I can't help it dear... it's in my nature to deny you."

In four days time, I'll be spending my days in the mist of 7 ladies while staring out towards the island of Sentosa with it's lush greenery and weird looking concrete Merlion, dreaming of the beach and lounging at Café del Mar.

Nice Glow

On the first weekday of my free week the day started off pretty nicely with an extended episode of Amazing Race on from 8 till 10am.

The sun was out and blazing, just the kind of day that's great for a day by the water. I was in the pool till 1pm and came out of it feeling quite amazed, that was like a 3hr swim.

I amazed myself, heh.

It is always nice when the pool is not too crowded.

The toasty glow did not show until I got home 3 hours later, nice. Now I look like a broiled lobster.

As the evening creep in, I got a message to check out the rising moon. That was when I was just about into the tenth episode of Heros - if you have not already heard about this show go find out here.

The moon had a nice yellow glow and just about peeping out from behind some high level Cirro-stratus clouds, yet all around, the darkening sky was clear and devoid of any other clouds.

I just realised that green grapes or perhaps grapes in general have a detox effect, at least I think that's what it was. I had a whole bowl of it while watching Heros and had to do a few quick runs to the throne room. Heehee ^_^

The 3 hours swim is taking effect and my eyes are shutting down for the night, just as some major disaster appears to be happening to the world on TV - 10.5 Apocalypse.

I need to sleep now.
